Sharon Parkinson

Hello again!  I’m back again to do another teacher profile, this time it’s Sharon Parkinson.

Since Sharon has been machine quilting she has gained a reputation as a fun, accessible teacher who is unstintingly generous with her knowledge.  She has taught in Australia and overseas and always gets rave reviews for her classes.

At Festival Sharon is offering her popular “Basics for Beginners and Beyond” class which is a 4.5 hour class absolutely jammed packed with information.   Sharon has travelled extensively and studied with many quilting masters to learn all she can about the art of quilting and is eager to  share that knowledge with you.  The class will cover tips and tricks for everything during the quilting process;  from when you load a quilt right through to delivering it back to your customer.   You can read more about the class here (insert link)
.

Sharon’s class will also cover many gorgeous background fills, including McTavishing and the use of Sharon’s favourite rulers.

In the interest of full disclosure I have to tell you that Sharon is my Mum,  but believe me when I say that her class is awesome and you really don’t want to miss it!
